TRANSPORTATION
We work only with tourist transportation with comfortable seats and good drivers, but if the client requires we can also use public transportation but it is on the responsibility of the client. We just work with authorized companies.

MEALS
We have very good cooks and the client can choose between Peruvian - International food or vegetarian meals. Please let us know in advanced the type of food. Our cooks have their authorization to work inside the National Park Huascarán.

GUIDES
The National Park Huascarán allows guiding just to official guides and UIAGM (International Union of Mountaineering Guide Association) certified guides. From 2009 also Trekking professional guides will be allowed to guide inside the Park. Also agencies require an authorization of the Park to operate. We are an authorized agency. Huayhuash is not a national park is a protected area. We make sure that our guides speak a foreign language. Only guides in English, French, German and Italian are available.

MULETEERS AND PORTERS
You can be sure that your luggage and gear is saved with our personal. Our muleteers and porters have also authorization of the National Park Huascarán to work. Muleteers work also as campsite guardians and normally they belong to their local mountain assistances associations.

  • Polar bag for the interior of the sleeping bag “Huantzan” (this increases the temperature of the sleeping bags in 10 ºC). They will be given by the guide with a pillow at the beginning of the trek to each passenger. Pillow and polar back must be given back to the guide at the end of the journey. We also sell the polar bag at US$25.
